Description
Gone are the days when perfume or cream samples were given away free of charge after a purchase in perfume shops, cosmetics stores or shopping malls.
According to the French Environment Code, from July 1, 2022, it will be forbidden to provide a consumer with a product sample as part of a commercial initiative, without their request. But in the absence of a decree specifying the terms and conditions, the ban had little effect.
