The sun protection market is dynamic, and should enjoy annual growth of around 3.5% over the next 5 years, driven by growing consumer awareness of the risks associated with UV exposure.
The formulation of sunscreen products is complex and requires a high level of technical expertise on the part of formulators. Each UV filter has specific properties (ease of solubilization, absorption wavelength, etc.), and only a combination of filters can achieve the desired stability, SPF and UVA/UVB ratio.
On the industrial side, one of the major challenges is to adapt to the many changes in regulations: changes in the list of UV filters, methods for assessing the efficacy of sunscreen products, revision of the 2006 recommendation.
All these topics will be addressed over the 2 days of the congress through :
- Conferences led by recognized experts in their field: academic researchers, R&D managers, university lecturers, dermatologists, etc.
- Stands related to the theme of sun protection
No fewer than 200 delegates are expected to attend the event.
