Upcircle Beauty

Description

Making the most of waste by creating high-performance cosmetics from ingredients derived from unused natural materials - it works! British brand UpCircle Beauty is proof of this with its success both in the UK and internationally. Here's a look at its co-founder Anna Brightman. From the coffee grounds with which the concept was launched, to waste kiwi fruit, blueberries and oranges from the food industry, to unsold produce from London's flower market, the committed UpCircle brand now turns some twenty recycled ingredients, sourced from all over the world, into cosmetics. "Powders, oils, waters... we're going to continue to diversify the ingredients we work with and demonstrate how many possibilities there are with this kind of raw material supplied in very large quantities by different industries. Our latest launches include new ingredients we've never used before, such as rose petals infused in bath salts or hibiscus flower acids for a hand cream", says the co-founder.
