The range of references for solid cosmetics is expanding, as are the number of brands trying their luck in this segment. More playful gestures and more glamorous galenic formulas are striving to seduce consumers who are keen on novelty and eco-designed products, but still want to retain pleasure of use and effectiveness.
In France, sales of solid cosmetics are estimated at €85.5 million (2022). Solid shampoos account for around 13% of this market share, facial care for 2.1% and solid body soaps for 83.4%.
