The "Responsible Commerce" award
Description
The Yves Rocher group has been awarded the Essec ‘Responsible Commerce’ prize. The award recognises the efforts made to reduce the carbon footprint of the group's industrial units.
It has refused to use the system of ‘carbon offsets’, preferring to concentrate on reducing its footprint. As a result of this strategy, Groupe Rocher - the first to opt for Mission Company status in 2019 - was awarded the Essec Grand Prix for Responsible Commerce in the ‘Reducing environmental impact’ category.
