London-based consultancy Ecovia Intelligence predicts an ever-increasing number of sustainable products on the cosmetics market, including increasingly green packaging.
The move away from single-use plastics is encouraging cosmetics brands to experiment with new packaging materials. . Bamboo, beeswax, wood chips, agricultural fibers and other bio-based materials can be found in cosmetics packaging. Some brands are interested in soluble and compostable packaging.
