Everlasting pollutants: Senate committee in favor of limiting PFASs

France is one step closer to banning polyfluoroalkylated and perfluoroalkylated compounds (PFAS) in certain consumer goods such as cosmetics. On Wednesday, May 22, the French Senate adopted in committee an ecologist bill aimed at restricting the manufacture and sale of products containing PFASs or eternal pollutants, although it was slightly modified before its examination in the Chamber on May 30.
