Growth of the cosmetics market in Spain in 2024
Description
In 2024, the Spanish cosmetics and fragrances market grew by 7.7% to €11.2 billion. Exports, driven by perfume, jumped by 23% to 9.59 billion, representing 2.5% of national exports. Perfumes (+11.3%) and make-up (+9.8%) were the most dynamic categories. Average consumption is €221.6 per capita, and the industry accounts for 1.03% of GDP. Imports also rose by 11%, but the trade balance remains in surplus.
